I am the mom to 3 incredible daughters. I married my high school sweetheart and 17 years in, we are still going strong!
Yikes.. that ages me, don’t do the math on that!
I’m a dental hygienist by trade but I’ve always been really creative and needed an outlet to express that creativity.
The Jewelled Cocoa Bean began as a passion project of mine in 2021.
After years of creating custom cakes and sweets, I decided to further challenge myself and dive head first into the world of chocolate.
Chocolate requires incredible precision and so many aspects of it are challenging.
From essentially constructing a tiny dessert by layering multiple complimentary flavours into a small cavity, to getting every temperature and humidity level right along the way, fine chocolates are hard to do well!
My goal with each bonbon I make is that the flavours take you on a journey and come alive in your mouth!
That your palate is surprised with the acidity, velvety smoothness, contrasting crunch… I think you get the idea!
